Deactivation of Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 and 1.1 on the direct routing interface on January 3rd, 2022 by Microsoft.

Microsoft will discontinue Transport Layer Security (TLS) versions 1.0 and 1.1 from January 3, 2022, and only use TLS 1.2 for the direct routing SIP interface.

anynode uses TLS 1.2. already by default.

The encryption libraries provided by the Cipher Suites are provided on Linux by the operating system used. For Windows, anynode provides the libraries. In both cases, it is advisable to keep both anynode and the operating system used up to date.

The current Debian versions 9 to 11 and Ubuntu 18.04 and 20.04 support the required cipher suites from Microsoft.

We recommend an anynode update to at least version 4.2.7 – better still to version 4.4.13.
