TE-SYSTEMS is proud to announce the latest version of our software SBC, anynode, with the release of anynode 1.12. In this release, several new features are now in anynode, including a new web front-end as well as our Load Balancer capability.
The Load Balancer feature is an especially exciting new feature for our customers. This feature allows you to control and equalize your system load when using several instances of anynode across multiple servers. In this scenario with multiple anynode SBCs working in parallel, every anynode instance queries the CPU usage of the server on which it is running. If the usage is approaching an unacceptably high load, the Load Balancer then distributes new session requests to all other anynode SBCs in this parallel environment. This helps to prevent your server from being overloaded at peak times and running the risk of session failure. The anynode Load Balancer gives you the security and confidence in knowing that your sessions, carrying calls that are important to your organization, will be managed to cut the risk of any dropped sessions to an absolute minimum—even when your servers running anynode are working close to full capacity.
