Homer HEP Protocol Integration
Centralized recording and analysis of SIP signaling via the new SIP Capture Agent with HEPv3
With the new SIP Capture Agent and the integrated Homer HEP protocol support, anynode provides a powerful way to centrally capture and analyze SIP signaling. This is a significant advantage especially for carriers, service providers, system integrators, or operators of large VoIP and UC environments, as complex signaling flows from various systems can be consolidated and evaluated. The agent uses the HEPv3 protocol, with target IP, port, and transport type (UDP or TLS) fully configurable in the frontend. SIP data is transmitted in real time to analysis and monitoring systems such as Homer, enabling complete traceability of signaling — ideal for troubleshooting, quality assurance, and stable operation in cluster environments or contact center infrastructures.

SIP calls from the PSTN through anynode to PBX or Teams systems are simultaneously transmitted via the SIP Capture Agent using the HEP protocol to a central analysis tool such as Homer.

Guided setup for easy configuration
An integrated wizard guides users step-by-step through the setup process: from selecting the appropriate network interface to adding certificates for TLS and performing the final connection test. This guided configuration significantly reduces complexity and ensures reliable setup, even when network segments change frequently or multiple Session Border Controllers need to be monitored in parallel. This keeps the connection to HEPv3-based monitoring systems stable and analyzable at all times, even in dynamic environments

Centralized monitoring and fast issue detection
By centrally capturing all SIP flows — whether from a provider cluster, a company-wide VoIP environment, or a managed service platform — anynode creates a consolidated foundation for transparent monitoring. Issues such as call drops, incorrect routing decisions, or inconsistent signaling parameters can be quickly identified and analyzed, reducing operational overhead and improving service quality in the long term.
